ALSWA Civil/Human Rights Unit Solicitor Sarouche Razi provides an update on Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act, discusses a Forum about Homelessness which he recently participated in and talks about Identity documentation.

Paula Gerber, Deputy Director of the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law and an Associate Professor at the Monash University Faculty of Law and Melissa Castanfrom the Law Faculty at Monash University, and a Deputy Director of the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law talk about their current research project investigating legal and other barriers to Aboriginal Australians’ registration and certification of birth. They will be in Perth at AADS for a Forum about this issue on 3 June 2014.
