VALE LIZ JACKSON 29 June 2018

The Aboriginal Legal Service of WA Limited (ALSWA) is saddened to learn of the
passing of acclaimed journalist Liz Jackson.
“Liz was a champion of Aboriginal causes and a talented journalist of great integrity”
said ALSWA CEO Dennis Eggington. “We are extremely grateful for her efforts over
many years in drawing attention to the plight of our First Nations Peoples”.
The shocking trail of events leading to the tragic and unnecessary death of

the ABC’s Four Corners program in 2009. “Who Killed Mr. Ward’ won a Walkley
Award for Best Coverage of Indigenous Affairs.
“ALSWA had no hesitation in participating in this program knowing that Liz was the
journalist who would expose the injustice that had occurred. She really was one of a
kind and a trailblazer in her field and she will be sadly missed” said Mr. Eggington.
ALSWA’s thoughts are with the family and friends cialis en france of Liz Jackson at this time.
