Chief Executive Officer: Dennis Eggington
Dennis EggingtonDennis Gordon Eggington has been Chief Executive Officer at ALSWA since 1995. He came to the position with a wealth of experience gained through involvement with a wide range of Aboriginal organizations.
Dennis has a background in education, management and community development. He holds a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Applied Science. His professional experience includes teaching and management roles with the WA Aboriginal Media Association, the WA Aboriginal Education Consultative Group, the Curtin University's Centre for Aboriginal Studies, Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service and the Dumbartung Aboriginal Corporation.
His role is overall management at ALSWA and he represents ALSWA on a number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander committees.
Dennis is a Noongar man who maintains strong links with his community. He is also a family man who with his wife Louella has 2 sons, a daughter and 3 grandchildren.
